ORLANDO, FL, May 07, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Orlando is proud to announce the finalists for the 2025 PropelHER Pitch Competition, which will take place during the highly anticipated Take Flight Women’s Business Conference on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Seminole State College, located at 100 Weldon Blvd, Sanford, FL 32773.
Presented by NAWBO Orlando, this year’s conference promises to be a celebration of innovation, leadership, and the entrepreneurial spirit of women across Florida.
2025 PropelHER Finalists
Finalists will pitch live in three categories—NextGen, Emerging, and Established—for a chance to win a share of cash prizes and over $18,000 in business services including legal support, marketing, HR, and promotion packages.
“PropelHER isn’t just a competition—it’s a launchpad for women who are transforming industries and changing lives,” says Karen Kurta, Chair of the PropelHER Committee and President-Elect. “We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on this incredible group of women founders.”
NextGen Finalists
• Line Cherrelus – Hair Hub: A mobile app empowering Black women with affordable DIY hair care tutorials, product guidance, and a supportive community—all designed to reclaim time, money, and confidence.
• Elaina Dixon – Blossoming to Broadway: A developmental program that uses drama therapy, arts education, and faith-based support to nurture social-emotional growth in children and youth.
Emerging Finalists
• Janell Borrero – MoneyPOP: A fintech platform providing AI-powered financial coaching for beauty entrepreneurs.
• Daisy Parks – Wellside Health: A telehealth provider delivering digital healthcare services to residential and commercial real estate communities.
• Tasanee Durrett – Tasanee Art: An art collective using cultural storytelling and public art to foster connection, healing, and economic opportunities for diverse creatives.
Established Finalists
• Julie Kostic – JK Creative: A design agency redefining small business branding with high-impact, affordable creative services.
• Cristina Duncan – Leaders in Training (LIT): A youth development program combining leadership training, dance, and community service to empower underserved students.
Attendees of the Take Flight Business Conference will also gain access to inspiring keynote speakers, expert-led panels on marketing and funding, and powerful networking opportunities with women business leaders, investors, and mentors.
